I have always enjoyed using the Western Australian coast as a means of getting inspiration for my work.
Its light and colour, textures, movement and ever changing moods has given me an endless supply of subject matter.
These are the places we constantly are drawn to. To recharge our batteries, calm our worries, lift our spirits and take our senses into overdrive.
The excitement of exploring new areas locally and afar is what keeps me stimulated in painting. Over the past years I have been drawn further inland and been inspired by the wheat belt areas and also the array of salt lakes we have in Western Australia.
My art is a way of showing the beauty of this amazing environment we live in. To see, appreciate and care for what we all take for granted.
Enjoy, breath it in and above all leave only footprints!
